The BTR-90 is an 8×8 wheeled armored personnel carrier developed in Russia, designed in 1993 and first shown publicly in 1994. It is a larger version of the BTR-80 vehicle, fitted with a BMP-2 turret. Armour protection is improved compared with the BTR-80, giving protection from 14.5 mm projectiles over the frontal arc. All VISMODS flat pack into a pallet box, with a flat packable support rack, can be initially installed in less than 1 hour and readied for daily use in less than 10 minutes. The design is highly damage resistant (tear resistant skin on top of a non-rigid tear resistant structure) which limits damage potential normally seen with rigid framed solutions. In the unlikely event of structural damage, effective repairs for issues of less than 2 feet in length may be completed in the field within minutes.

TACT’s VISMODS are available as a complete solution, with weapons system and power supply, or with just the VISMOD appliance.

Specifications:

Stand Alone Power System (Option 1):	Lycan 5000 Electric Generator - 100 Ah +/- 6 hours of constant VISMOD operation when connected to the 400W outlet of the vehicle cab or bed. Full recharge from a standard 120v mains supply (or fuel generator) in approximately 2 hours. When not connected to the 400W outlet, constant operation time of this standard model will be limited to +/- 4 hours.
Engine Integrated Power System (Option 2):	Inverter Relay to 50Ah Battery Pack. Unlimited VISMOD operation provided the vehicle is idled when not moving. +/- 2 hours of constant VISMOD operation on battery power only.
